The goal in providing biblical lay counseling is to help you meet the challenges of life in a way that will please and honor the Lord Jesus Christ and allow you to fully enjoy His love for you and His plans for your life (James 1:27). I am committed to providing lay counseling that is based on Christian principles in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere as a Christian lay counselor who integrates therapeutic skills with a solid biblical foundation
What to expect
1. My Christian counseling is founded on Jesus Christ as the crucified, risen Lord and Savior Who, through His Word and the Holy Spirit, can help us handle our personal and relational problems. Jesus alone provides the forgiving mercy, the wisdom, and the power we need for daily living.
2. My Christian counseling will also use an integrated and eclectic approach. I will interact with God given extra-biblical material in order to clarify.
3. My Christian counseling will reflect the love, kindness, and compassion of Jesus our Shepherd and Counselor. Christian counseling is a caring process marked by Christ-like love, wisdom, and concern (Hebews 13:3).
4. My Christian counseling seeks to bring thorough and lasting godly change by addressing both the inward and the outward issues of your problems.
